Effects of Pilocarpine on Ocular Tension Dynamics.

چکیده

Pilocarpine has been used since 1877 in the treatment of glaucoma because of its effect in lowering intraocular pressure. How­ ever, it is only since the advent of tonography and anterior chamber perfusion tech­ niques that the mechanism of this effect has been investigated. It was the purpose of this study to evalu­ ate further the effects of pilocarpine by means of diurnal tonometric and tonographic testing of normal and glaucomatous sub­ jects.
