Effects of Pilocarpine on Ocular Tension Dynamics.

چکیده
Pilocarpine has been used since 1877 in the treatment of glaucoma because of its effect in lowering intraocular pressure. How ever, it is only since the advent of tonography and anterior chamber perfusion tech niques that the mechanism of this effect has been investigated. It was the purpose of this study to evalu ate further the effects of pilocarpine by means of diurnal tonometric and tonographic testing of normal and glaucomatous sub jects.
